WLStack has always worked to simplify infrastructure deployment through an advanced cloud platform, empowering developers and enterprises. From a Hangzhou start-up to a carrier-grade compute provider, here are the milestones along the way.
2018.06
Company founded
WLStack was founded at Xixi Valley International Business Center, Hangzhou, and began building its first edge cloud data center.
2018.11
Telecom license obtained
Licensed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of the People's Republic of China.
2019.02
Carrier interconnections
Established BGP interconnections with CMCC, China Unicom (CUC), WASU, ChinaNetCenter and Apple.
2020.02
Strategic shift & pandemic support
Our founder started a new company in the pathology-AI field to support anti-COVID efforts with our flexible, stable network; the Hangzhou metro network and key-customer services kept running.
2024.05
Business model rebuilt
Discontinued the Hangzhou LAN operation and rebuilt the business model and service capabilities, focusing on compute and cloud infrastructure.
2025.02
Relaunch & upgrade
Reobtained the MIIT value-added telecom services license, partnered with China Unicom (CUC), and became a top-tier compute-power service provider.
